Kartoffelland Semmel Knoedel
Kartoffelland 6 Boil-in-Bag Bread Dumplings are original German potato dumplings with breads mixed in, in Bavarian fashion. A perfect side dish for meats and vegetables. Preparation: Take the desired amount of dumplings out of the package and place them in a pot with cold, lightly salted water. Let dumplings soak for 10 minutes, turn them every now and then. The dumplings have to be covered with plenty of water. Bring water with the dumplings to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Then let simmer (in uncovered pot) over low heat for another 15 minutes until dumplings rise to the surface. Remove dumplings and briefly rinse under cold water. Take dumplings out of the boil-in-bag (tear it at a grip tab) and serve hot.
