Half and Half Dumpling Mix
Kartoffelland 12 Classic Potato Dumpling Mix makes a original German specialty, consisting of one half from mashed potatoes and half from potatoes pieces, providing a more textured mouthfeel of the dumplings. A perfect side dish for meats and vegetables; they also soak up sauces and gravies well.
- Stir contents of package into 750 ml of cold water with wire whisk.
- Let mixture stand for 10 minutes to thicken.
- Moisten hands with cold water and form the mixture into 12 dumplings. Put dumplings into ample amount of lightly salted boiling water and let them boil for a short time.
- Cook on low heat for 20 minutes, uncovered.
